Student Organizations

Vestavia Hills High School Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) like FBLA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA give students opportunities to take their classroom learning to the next level. They help students build real-world skills, leadership abilities, and teamwork through hands-on projects, competitions, and community service. CTSOs also allow students to explore career paths, connect with industry professionals, and gain experiences that make them more competitive for college and future jobs. By participating, students not only strengthen their technical knowledge but also develop confidence, responsibility, and skills that are valuable in any career.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is a student organization that connects directly with business education courses by giving students the chance to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world situations. Through competitions, leadership activities, and teamwork, FBLA helps students strengthen their business knowledge, communication, and problem-solving skills—making their business education more practical and impactful for future careers.

HOSA (Future Health Professionals) is a student organization that supports health science courses by giving students hands-on experiences, leadership opportunities, and competitions that connect classroom learning to real healthcare careers. It helps students build teamwork, communication, and technical skills that prepare them for success in the medical field.
